Terms of Service

Effective date: May 28, 2026  ·  Last updated: September 22, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CORe Technologies website at opencore.one, the CORe chat app, the CORe API, CORe Hosting, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, sending a request to the Service, or otherwise using it, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including activity by anyone you give your credentials to. Keep your password and API keys private. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not:

  • Create accounts for someone else without their permission, or impersonate any person or entity
  • Share, sell, or rent accounts
  • Use automation to register accounts in bulk
  • Circumvent account suspensions or bans by creating new accounts

3. The service

The Service includes:

  • The CORe chat app, an interactive assistant powered by our CORe model family
  • The CORe API, an OpenAI-compatible HTTP API for programmatic access
  • File uploads, including images and videos used as input to the model
  • CORe Hosting, an experimental Minecraft server hosting feature

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We’ll try to give reasonable notice for breaking changes, but we don’t promise specific uptime, response times, or feature availability unless you have a separate written agreement with us.

4. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate, distribute, or store illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content depicting non-consensual sexual acts, content that incites or facilitates real-world violence, terrorism, or genocide, and material that violates applicable export controls or sanctions
  • Harass, threaten, or stalk any individual, or generate content intended to do so
  • Generate non-consensual intimate imagery of real people, including deepfakes, sexualized depictions of identifiable individuals without consent, or sexualized depictions of minors in any form
  • Attempt to extract our system prompts, training data, model weights, or any other proprietary configuration through prompt injection, jailbreak techniques, or reverse-engineering
  • Run automated attacks against the Service, including scraping at a rate or scale that materially impacts other users, denial-of-service attacks, or credential stuffing
  • Resell the Service or wrap it in a way that obscures that responses come from us, without prior written permission
  • Bypass safety measures, content filters, or rate limits we put in place
  • Use the Service for high-stakes decisions without independent human review, including medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, employment decisions, or anything else where an incorrect AI output could meaningfully harm someone
  • Use the Service to violate any law applicable to you or to the person you’re directing it at

If you discover content or behavior on the Service that violates these rules, please report it to [email protected].

5. Illegal content and CSAM detection

Zero tolerance. Uploading, generating, or attempting to generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors is grounds for immediate, permanent account termination and a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and any other relevant authorities.

All media uploaded to the Service passes through Cloudflare’s CSAM Scanning Tool, which compares perceptual hashes of uploaded content against the NCMEC and IWF databases. Detected matches result in automatic blocking of the file, removal from our origin, account termination, and a report filed with NCMEC on our behalf.

This scanning is automated and non-discretionary. We do not review the underlying content. We do not retain the underlying content beyond what is necessary to comply with our legal reporting obligations.

If you believe content has been incorrectly flagged, contact [email protected]. We will review false-positive claims in good faith but the burden of proof is on you.

6. Your content

“Your content” means anything you upload, type, or otherwise submit to the Service: prompts, files (images, videos), chat history, project files, custom system prompts, memories, and similar.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate the Service for you, for example, to send your prompt to the model, save your chat history, and re-display it when you return. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups and copies retained for legal compliance.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload everything you upload. Don’t upload content you don’t own or don’t have permission to use.

We do not use your content to train our models without your explicit opt-in. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data (counts, latency, error rates) to operate and improve the Service.

Model improvement program (opt-in)

The Service offers an optional “Help CORe improve their models” setting, shown during onboarding and available at any time in Settings. It is off by default. If you enable it:

  • You grant us permission to use the text of your chat messages (your prompts and the model’s replies) to train, fine-tune, and distill CORe models and to improve CORe products generally.
  • Before anything is stored, your messages pass through an automated de-identification pipeline that replaces personal information (names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, IP addresses, personal links, and similar identifiers) with synthetic placeholders, and hard-redacts secrets such as passwords, API keys, and payment card numbers. Only the de-identified text is ever written to training data.
  • Ghost-mode chats, deleted accounts, and users who never enable the setting contribute nothing, no exceptions.
  • You can withdraw at any time by turning the setting off. Doing so immediately stops all future collection and deletes the data previously collected under the program. Note that de-identified data already incorporated into a trained model cannot feasibly be removed from that model.

Enabling this setting constitutes your agreement to the use of this anonymized, non-personal data to improve CORe products, as described above.

Retention

Uploaded videos are retained for up to seven days from upload and may be deleted automatically thereafter. Chat history is retained for the lifetime of your account unless you delete it. You can delete any chat, memory, or project at any time from your account settings. Deleted content is removed from active systems promptly but may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days.

7. AI-generated output

Outputs generated by the CORe models are produced by automated statistical inference. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or fabricated, including factual claims that sound confident but are wrong (“hallucinations”). Do not rely on AI output for important decisions without independent verification.

You own the outputs you generate, to the extent that any party can own them under applicable copyright law. We make no warranty that AI outputs are original, non-infringing, or fit for any particular purpose. Different jurisdictions treat AI-generated content differently; you are responsible for understanding what applies to your use.

8. API access

API keys (prefix ck-) issued to you are your responsibility. Do not commit them to public repositories, embed them in client-side code, or share them. We may revoke any key at any time if we detect abuse or compromise.

API usage is subject to per-key rate limits, which may change. Sustained patterns that appear to be denial-of-service or competitive scraping may result in throttling or termination.

You may not use the API to build a service that competes substantially with the CORe Service, or to train a model intended to replicate the behavior of CORe models, without prior written permission.

9. CORe Hosting (Minecraft)

CORe Hosting is offered as a free, experimental beta. Server availability, performance, and data durability are not guaranteed. Do not store anything on CORe Hosting that you can’t afford to lose.

Content rules from Section 4 and Section 5 apply to anything you upload to or run on a CORe Hosting server. We may shut down any server that violates these Terms or threatens the stability of shared infrastructure.

You may not use CORe Hosting to mine cryptocurrency, run distributed compute jobs unrelated to Minecraft, or host content unrelated to a Minecraft server.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You upload illegal content, or content that triggers our automated detection systems
  • Your usage materially harms other users or the Service’s stability
  • Required by law, court order, or law-enforcement request
  • We discontinue the Service or the part of it you’re using

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. On termination, your access ends immediately. Some data (audit logs, abuse reports, content required for legal compliance) may be retained even after account deletion.

Automated review and reporting. The Service uses automated systems, including the AI models themselves, to detect content that violates or is suspected of violating these Terms. When a chat is flagged as a potential violation, that chat and its contents may be reviewed by authorized CORe Technologies staff and retained as an abuse report. This review process is automated in part and is used to enforce these Terms, protect other users, and comply with law. Flagged content may be reviewed and retained even if you later delete the chat or your account.

11. Privacy

We collect the data we need to operate the Service: account credentials (email, hashed password), chat history, uploaded files, API usage records, and basic technical logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps). We do not sell personal information.

Chat data is only ever used to train our models if you explicitly enable the optional model improvement program described in Section 6, and only after automated de-identification. If you never opt in, your chats are never used for training.

We share data with third parties only where strictly necessary to operate the Service, for example, transmitting bytes through Cloudflare (which sits in front of our infrastructure for protection and CSAM scanning), and data for hosts that run parts of the Service we didn’t have the compute to ourselves. We require those providers to handle data in accordance with their own published terms.

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK-GDPR, and CCPA respectively, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Email [email protected] to exercise these rights.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ACCURATE. AI OUTPUTS ARE NOT FACTS; THEY ARE STATISTICAL PREDICTIONS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON THEM.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CORE TECHNOLOGIES OR ITS OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least seven days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
